All adult performers MUST compete in Level 3 (formerly Advanced) performance level and are not eligible for High Score Awards. 2022 NATIONAL MVP WINNERS MVP "Maximum Velocity Performance" National Winner: Along with the $2,000.00 prize, MVP Winners choose one Velocity faculty member to come out to your home studio and choreograph a piece with expenses paid by Velocity. National winnings may be redeemed for a 2023 Regional Competition from the issuing competition. Large Groups and Lines - No more than 1/3 of the dancers in a routine may be a higher performance level than the level that the routine is entered. All props must be fire-proofed. Vocalists will not be eligible for High Score Dance Awards. All ages will compete against each other for all Dance Levels combined, i.e., Level 3, Level 2, & Level 1 for this award. Routines will perform in numerical order. We also reserve the right to limit solos to two (2) per dancer, depending on venue capability and space. Payments must be made by Credit Card or E-Check. DUET/TRIO AWARDS High Score Awards will be presented to the Top 10 scoring duet/trios in each age division. Level 1 (Formerly Novice): All Solos, Duets/Trios, Small Groups, Large Groups and Lines, in each age division are eligible for High Score Awards and will be presented with a special award for receiving the highest score.
